This company is a complete scam and will be shut down soon enough, the owner is already changing the name of the company. The people that work here are decent and very hardworking, however, if you are considering working here I suggest you research; multi level marketing, Cydcor, SmartCircle, or just keep reading the reports about GoTo inc. The following is my own account of being an employee and being scammed by them.
I worked for this company for about 3 months and was very skeptical from the start, I never even sent them my resume, they aquired it by a process called resume phishing. I went in for my first interview and it lasted a total of 5 minutes and consited of the owner, Dave Keenan, basically confirming that i could talk and breath, I had more questions for hime then he had about myself. I told I was what he was looking for and was invited back for a second interview, just lik everyone else who interviewed on the same day I did. I thought it was all very sketchy, however I was hurting for a job and they "sold" my on the oppurtunity of owning my own company in under a year. And making 600-900$ a week in the mean time.
After going on my day of observation, during which the person who brought me out lied to every person he pitched and didn't sign up any one for a windshield replacement, i was brought back to the office and hired.
Now I worked very very hard for this company and put in 60-70hours a week which I was never told I would have to do, my checks where under 300$ every week and I was told it was my fault, whether it was becuase I didn't track my customers right (which I was never trained on how to do), or becuase insurance companies were steering my customers (which isn't true, they just know that this company is a scam and do not want their insured clients using them.)
Everyday you will be sent all over the state of massachusetts with another co-worker and have to walk into business's, yes even ones with no soliciting signs on them, and try to sign people up to get their windshields replaced with Coast to Coast Auto Glass. You will not be re-imbursed for gas money, or travel time. Your car will be ran into the ground, and you will be expected to train people and interview potential recruits, all while still trying to earn your own money, oh yeah and by the way your pay will not increase for any of this. You will never be put on a salary or be offered health benefits. You will be required to attend brainwashing moivational meetings every morning for 2 hours and be forced to come back to the office at night even if you haven't signed anyone up for a replacement. So thats at leasts two hours everyday stuck in the office not getting paid, listening to brainwashing techniques, and lies from the owners.
The office will tell you that I didn't work hard enough or that I didn't stay on top of my customers, they will continue to brainwash, LIE, and use people, if you are working for them already get out now, and if they've already contacted you RUN!!!
