Seawest obtained my account from a tote-the-note car lot, that I had purchased my car from. Without my consent.
I went to this particular place because I wasn't ready to go through a finance company for personal reasons. But I still ended up with this rip-off company.
They have been calling me at work every day, plus at home in the evening time. I called them and asked them to come pick up the car, because I was unable to pay on it and I did not want it to look as bad on my credit. Well the guy that I spoke with talked so ugly to me and told me that they are not a repo company. They only deal in finance.
I told him that I would leave the car parked. He told me, we don't care what you do with the car, we just want our money.
He didn't quite say it that nice.
The car was towed from my apartment complex and I thought that they had repossessed the car, but then they called and confirmed that they hadn't and the lady I spoke with, told me that maybe the car lot that I originally got the car from may have towed it.
Now why would they tow it if Seawest obtained my account from them. That should mean that the car is no longer a concern to that car lot.
Even though I no longer have this car, going on 5 months. They are still calling and harassing me, even at work after I asked them not to call my place of employment, not 1 time but 3 times.
This is very unprofessional and I also noticed that the total amount of my car had went up.
