I recently applied for credit for a different company, but received a call, saying i qualify for 2500 credit with low interest, and to get this card i need $298 for the life of the card, with no other fees. I said, i don't have it so, they said to post date a check for the amount and ask me some questions, and answer yes or no.
They also said, it will be recorded for future services and any questions to call a customer service number at 1-877-572-6751 and took my social number, address, phone. And to wait one week. But didn't receive anything, so i start to investigate to see what happen i left message in the recordings, no call returned, and to call a different number. Until now someone made this web site for the rest of people who had this dishonest business call.
