I wrote a while back about my check never clearing. It finally cleared on July 10th. I call the automated line and it stated the $30 payment was posted to my account on July 9th. This payment was mailed on June 24th. The automated line also stated a credit of 35.19 was posted on July 9th.
I went on line for my bank statement and took a look at the back of my check (don't you just love technology?) It was stamped that card services recieved it on 6/27. Today I just received a bill from Card processing center in hicksville, NY stating I am one payment past due and a late fee of $35.00 was added. I just call the automated line again and it still tells me my account has been credited. These people don't have a clue. I can't seem to get the same info. It makes me wonder if I'm dealing with 2 different companies. These people don't have anyway for me to pay this on line, or I would. I went to cardmemberservice.net, but it doesn't recgonize my account #. I guess I need to send my next payment 2 weeks in advance, and just hope it gets posted.
