Aug we signed a lease with Lease Finance Group LLC, to pay $66.38 per month for 48 months, or we could buy the credit card machine for $1500.00 outright.
We paid first and last month, as agreed, starting Aug 10. The agreed amount, $66.38 was deducted every month through June 10. During this time $32.00 was also being deducted, with another account number. It was described as "settle fee".
In July, they debited my account for $122.00. I thought this surely should be the end. WRONG! August they debited $250.00. I caught this within the 24 hours the bank allows you to file a stop payment. The bank credited my account for this payment.
In the meantime, I began to get harassing phone calls. They told me I had to do a buy out on the machine. My lease agreement did not say anything about a "buy out". It said 48 months at $66.38, with first and last payment due at signing.
I told the rude young man that I was not paying another dime. WRONG AGAIN! November 16 my account was debited for $567.00. I did not check my account until Nov 21. I immediately went to my bank, where I was told I didn't come in within the allowed 24 hours. I have talked to everyone at the bank from the floor sweeper to the highest man. I finally just kissed goodbye to my social security check for this month, and I'm trying to fight in some other way.
