Services screwed me over not once, not twice, not three times, but FOUR

Continental Direct Services aka CMM aka CCA allowed my ex husband to authorize for monies to be withdrawed out of my bank account.

I didn't have enough money in the bank for them to get the 149.99 that they were trying to get, but it did cost me over 100.00 in bank fees for the checks that bounced and the charge for me putting a block on my account to keep them from withdrawing more money out.

My bank then told me to fax CDS a letter stating that they DID NOT have my authorization to access any monies in my account. I did so immediatly and added in the note that I never signed up for anything with them and whatever account they opened in my name needed to be closed and credited immediatly. I did request written confirmation of this.

Their idea of confirmation was trying to get the money out of my account once again, and once again causing my checks to go bouncing like balls all over town.
Finally my banker just advised me to close the account. Which is what I did.

After repeated attempts to contact a human at the number I got from the bank I finally was able to reach someone who told me that the card and catelog was applied for over the phone, i asked for the application showing my signature that authorized this transaction and he stated one did not exist so there is no way to dispute.

I filed many complaints with this company and BBB to try to get this resolved. No one ever responded to my complaints. I decided to just cut the loss and go on with my life.

Now, 4 years later, I tried to buy a house for the first time and was astounded when the lendor informed me of a 188.00 bill on my credit report!!! I could not believe it.

I have still been trying desperatly to get this resolved, but no one knows the address or fax number of CDS for me to send a dispute. When I call CCA, who was previously CDS, they say they do not have access to this account, when I try to get the info from the COLLECTION AGENCY they say they don't have an address or fax, not even a phone number for me to send a dispute. I have to get this taken off my credit, but I absolutly REFUSE to pay for this. Someone please help me.
