A month ago, I recieved a call from the Continental Services and introduced their company as Citicard. He said, I applied a credit card online. I was really confused.
I said, I don't think so. And he added if I taked it or not! I said, okay cause I don't have one. Then he asked me if I have a checking account. I said, Yes! After I gave my full bank account. He said, Ms. Be sure your account has the amount of $329 before Sept. 9,04. I asked him why? He said, because I applied a credit card. And he called the other person named Andre for the verification of my application.
After, 2 to 3 weeks, I received a form from the Citibank about credit card application. I thought, they were just the same services. So, I filled up the application and sent to the mail. One day, I went to the bank for my transaction. There, I got my bank statement account and I realized a $329.80 was held in my account.
So, I went back a day after and asked from the Trustmark bank supervisor to checked what company held $329.80 in my account. Due to my financial status is very difficult. I decided to contact the Continental Services to cancelled my transaction with them. But I tried to explained and to the woman till they passed me from one to another. Until I was really mad! I never give up calling during the whole day at my work. And I heard from their phone that their mailbox was full and couldn't taked any more messages.
After awhile, I called them back and the lady answered the phone and sounds that she was mad. I said, I need my money back! But she replied, I coudn't get my money back and I asked why they held $329.80 in my account? She said, that was for a one year activation fee. So, I was really shock! And I said, I need my money back. She said, they couldn't reimburst my money. I said, Why? She said, it's not refundable anymore.
I feel very suspecious already when I called their numbers, they ignored me and they don't even want to talked to me. So, I called the Citibank about my credit card application. The customer services said, my application was declined. So, I said, why they held $329.80 in my account if my application was declined? So, I asked her what the Citibank was affiliated with the continental services. She said, there's nothing to do with the Citibank to the Continental services. So, I went back to the Trustmark bank and get some answered what to do. But still I haven't see any amount back in my account yet.
