CIC Credit Monitoring Services
Rips off people around the world ripoff abused & mistreated

I am a US Service Member currently stationed oversea. A few days ago I was checking my bank account waiting on my paycheck and my investments to kick in for the end of month June. Being 13 hours ahead of my bank, online access is a great advantage, until I see a charge of $79.95 tagged on to my checking account on July 2 with the name CIC Credit Monitoring Srv, and I knew that something was not right. I know what these services are and have no reason to access or even pay someone to check my credit for me or even try to protect my credit due to the fact that I have recently filed bankruptcy. I can honestly say that I am somewhat interested in what my credit report say, but know that it is no use for at least 7 years to worry about it. I have already contacted my bank and will be filing a report for the unauthorized withdrawl on my account, also I emailled CIC Credit Monitoring services and recieved a blanket email that states they will look at my email and will reply within the next 24 hours, and I will look into joining the class action lawsuit. Unlike most of the people that I read on this website, I was not looking for a free credit report, I can get rejected for a credit card and get one without a hassle, nor was I looking for Credit Monitoring Services, I already know my credit is bad. I didn't supply any credit information a month ago or yesterday for that matter because the Debit card I have is the only credit card I possess at this time and just recieved it the middle of last month and have never used it. My old one has expired and has been cancelled. I don't pay for an ISP provider and I only use 3 reputable companies online for purchases and they all have my old credit information that has been cancelled. It does bewilder me as to how they can access my information so easily, but then I asked myself where the credit reports that didn't make it to those who wanted free reprots were actually going to? This is just speculation, all I know is this was an unauthorized credit and I would like to have my money back in my account immediately. If I really wanted a credit report I would check the three major credit companies and pay $9 for theirs, and if you really want a monitoring service I am sure Experian will do it for a lot less than $79.95 a year, and they are a more respectable company.

Thanks

James
