Today, February 27, I checked my bank statement online and found a charge from CIC Credit Monitoring Services for 79.95. This was news to me. I have never heard of CIC Credit Monitoring Services, nor would I spend 79.95 on their services (I did check their website after calling my bank and getting the charge removed and canceling my bank card).
I did report this company to the FTC. I hope they are investigated and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I also hope others decide to report this company to the FTC. You can find their website at www.ftc. Gov. As more victims of their fraud come forward with complaints, maybe CIC Credit Monitoring Service will get moved up on the list of companies in the FTC sights.
