Chase Bank charged monthly fees of $12 on my business checking account, totaling almost $100 by the time I discovered it, 1/2 my entire balance. I had indicated to the the teller when I opened it that my business was new. I was 9 months pregnant and didn't expect to be active with it in the near future. I was just transferring some funds from 1st Bank and was trying to keep accounts together, with a personal account. I didn't even need the checking account but was probably told I needed it to have the savings (all I needed).
When I reported my discovery, they did nothing. I contacted the district manager, who only credited 2 months. These fees should not have been charged at all and should have been disclosed when I opened the account.
