I opened a chase checking account but later decided I didn't want it. They were willing to close it, for just a small fee of $25. Otherwise I had to leave it opened for 90 days. It wouldn't be bad if there was no service fees but you have to either pay a monthly fee or use their debit card at least five times per cycle. What a pain in the ass. Well, that's what I'll do then - the tiniest purchases I can possibly do. Like a 19 cent banana. Hopefully it will cost them more to keep the account opened then the money they make off me in those 90 days.in the meantime I'll be closing my savings account with them and probably my credit card. Thanks a lot Chase. You suck.
