In the summer of 08 we sent our mortgage payment as usual being we were under deed for contract we always tried to make our payment in a faithful manner and seeing on a couple of ocasions the mortgatge company "ABN Amro"withdrew our payment late causeing a late fee we included the late payment on our check well they had no problem with this and would put it tword our payment if there was no late penalty to be paid everything was good with them and strait for four years then in July of 08 our June check was returned then a couple of days later July's check we said what the hell so we called well thats when we found out that we should have made the check out to citymortgage and a different address well that would explain why they were returning our checks so we asked the lady on the phone if we should resend June and julys payment she said no that's OK just send august to the new address as usual everything would be ok so we did and we called the man whose name is on the mortgage and asked if he had gotten a notice of this change. He said he hadn't received anything then in may of 09 he gets a letter from citi claiming he has four thousand dollars in late payments well he calls us and we all three get on phone with citi the lady says that everything looked OK and she didn't see no four grand to just send Mays payment so we did then in June we get a letter of foreclosure we contacted there lawyers and disputed it at witch time the told us not send any more payments because they would not be accepted
well there lawyers suspended it for a while then in august they sent a letter of explanation for the four thousand dollars saying that we owed for jun and July of 08 and may June and July of 09 we called and asked where Mays payment went they said that it went t word escrow well i know that escrow was paid in December and they added late charges and attorney fees and that our payment in july of 08 had been upped from 362.00 a month to 402.02 a month i thought what the hell prior to this they only claimed four thousand in late fees and now there claiming non payment and upped payment for witch we also did not get a notification of these people are making up stuff. Then i noticed the payoff amount was 42,900 well back in 06 i attempted to get loan in my name my bank inquired about payoff and in 06 it was only 42,160 so where did eleven thousand dollars of my money go. How can i owe eight hundred more than i did three years ago. I really feel they lost the mortgage. These people created a reason for foreclosure by non notification and maid up stuff there actions were fraudulent and deceptive
