Good News!
It appears changes may be starting. On 5/2 I got a Tri-Bureau Report from all three major Credit Reporting Agencies. At that time my previous Fairbanks loan showed that Foreclosure preceedings had been started and that my payment history was awful. I contested with the agencies and as of last week the agencies reported back that the Foreclosure and bad payment history was confirmed by Fairbanks and no changes would be made.
Today I pulled another Tri-Bureau and believe it or not 2 of the 3 reporting agencies show a CLEAN record from Fairbanks. They had wipped my slate clean and perfect in the last week even after they had refused to correct the record in the past month. I can only expect the 3rd agency to report clean in the next few days.
I do NOT know if this is a defensive action because they are now aware that I have filed a law suit, or, if it is because I was interviewed on 2 TV stations at Inform II, or, if they are starting to audit accounts and "FIX" the ones that are screwed up or, if the squeky wheel gets the grease. (and I have been a VERY squeaky wheel) Whatever the cause they are finally doing something right. I suggest that EVERY ONE OF YOU with credit report problems with Fairbanks (assuming the reports are false) do as I did and contest your reports with the agencies. Also get hold of the new customer assistance people Fairbanks has employed.
Fairbanks is by NO MEANS off the hook with me but at least I will soon be able to refi at I hope a MUCH lower interest level.
