I paid over in upwards of $10,000 dollars to this company. I was told that the whole process would take 6-18 months. I had started the process and had always paid my mortgage. I was told that I should continue paying my mortgage during the process, but once it was in recission I good do what I wanted. They said they don't suggest not paying but that it was wrapped up in ligitigation and they couldn't do anything. Well the notices of non-payment kept coming, the calls kept coming, and they kept telling me they were taking care of this and that. For all I know this is one huge CON to get as many people's money as possible and do nothing. I've really never seen any substantive in the whole process.
Long story short, I kept getting calls, letters and so forth and then my house was to be auctioned off. What? Gave them letters and info. And still nothing. My house was sold and I was forced out of my house. What is this?
My point of paying them in upwards of 10K was to keep my house and get it back paid in full because of an illegal loan. So did they do any real work for me? Now they tell me that they'll sue for the damages on my house. Sure, like they told me they'd get my house back for me when I was paying the mortgage. I don't know what to believe.
In fact if they want to save face, they should pay me back what I paid them, and I'll give them a percentage of the suit they want to file or have filed. Otherwise I think a big fat lawsuit targeted at them would suffice.
The worst part is part of my contract states that I can't mention this to anyone or it will void my refund. What is this? And I wonder how many other individuals have gone through this process and seen the same exact thing but can't talk about it. Plenty I'm sure! They said it's very rare for a home to be sold out from under you but I don't know what I can believe.
One saving grace is they always get back to me within a reasonable amount of time, I don't know if it's simply a way to prevent fanning the flames or they are genuinely trying to fix things.
