Today is may 23rd. I checked my bank account online and noticed a charge of 79.95 dollars on my account. I have never noticed who this was through. I ran a search through yahoo and came across a phone number, that number is 1-877-513-4175, i dialed the number and got a message giving the website address.
I typed the address in and got a page, www.consumerinfo.com, i noticed the page right away. I was emailed this through a stream of emails from a mailing list. I checked it out at that time. They offered a "free credit report" to me at no charge whatsoever. I entered the information needed and was told the card i used was invalid and no information would be taken further. I left the site and disregarded it.
Now, today, i get charged for close to 80 dollars for something i did not receive. Please be advised i did send the company an email, i am calling my bank to see if they can do anything, and i will keep in contact with whomever i can to get the matter taken care of.
