Chase Bank
Dug up an old email address and tried to hack into my Paypal account right after I opened an account!

I opened up an account with Chase Bank in Phoenix. The branch was at Indian School and 32nd Street. The customer service was excellent.

There was a coupon for 125.00 bonus to open the account. They say you have to keep the bonus amount open for six months.

While signing up, and it says so on the page, the man asked me "WHAT IS MY EMAIL ADDRESS?" I said I didn't want to give that out.

Then, we finish our business.

Almost a month later, I tried to use the internet to set up an internet account. When doing so, the computer prompted me as to how to identify myself. They asked for my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, CREDIT CARD NUMBER, BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER, AND email address.

I knew that I had not given them that. Compass made my identify myself 3 times, and one of them was email address. I looked and saw someone had entered one for my account. It was a*s @aol.com.

I was like, whoa, that is strange. Thought awhile, and remembered I had an address I haven't used in over 10 years that might match it. Sure enough it did! I saw the Compass email! I also had years worth of unread email.

I thought. Maybe I did give it to him and forgot. I looked at the paperwork from signing up, and sure enough, it stated NO EMAIL ADDRESS.

I thought, well maybe I gave it to him and he forgot.

Well, I waited for a couple of weeks, and today was checking out from purchasing and saw something rather bizarre. When I went to paypal, to check out, the email addres of a*[email protected] was listed.

Hmmm. Either I'd have had to done that on my computer, or someone else had attempted it on theirs. I signed up with Chase on 5/09 with a Kyle Ghedoote, on Indian School and 32nd St.

I haven't had ANYONE attempt this before. It is to timely of an event to believe someone from ten years ago tried to do this.

I would not recommend this bank at all.
