I received an email from Pay Pal saying my account was being charged $474.99 for a cellphone being sent to Bill Chang.
Also stated if I haven't authorized this charge, click the link below to cancel payment and get a full refund.
When clicking this link they asked for my credit card number as well as my social security card number for "verification" purposes.
Needless to say, I didn't enter the information, and contacted PayPal (not through the link in the email).
I received an email from Pay Pal that said that this was under investigation and their fraud investigation team will be working on this matter.
Since I do not have a pay pal account, I knew that this was phishing for my credit card and social security number. Please DO NOT give anyone this information unless you are absolutely sure where the email came from.
