This person is so dishonest and we feel like such fools. He knows just how to get money from people. He will pay you back the first few times so that he can show a pattern of honesty. Then, all of a sudden, he stops paying you back and blames the economy, his employees or his customers. Then he manages to convince you to loan him more money for things he needs for his job&because, he convinces you that he won't be able to make money unless he can borrow money! Clever.
So he sucks you in and you believe him. You feel trapped. You feel like if you don't help him get on his feet, then he will never pay you back. He has done this to so many others. He even talks you into not taking him to court because "how can I pay you back if I am in jail". Then all of a sudden he stopped answering his phone. We talked constantly - and not always about money. We considered him a family friend.
My son bought a car from him, he used his truck to help us move furniture, we even "babysat" his dog during the day sometimes while he was at work. I couldn't figure out why he wouldn't talk to me. Then I spoke to a lawyer and was told that there is a statute of limitations to sue someone for fraud. I think Mike knows this and he is hoping we will go away. I have 7 kids.
He literally stole from them. What a jerk. I don't have any idea in this entire world how in Gods name he can even sleep at night. None. He is evil. His parents must be so ashamed. I doubt his new bride has a clue what this guy is all about. Please—if you are reading this and you know this has happened to you&report it here&please. Someone needs to stop him. There will be justice somehow.
