I was originally contacted by a Steve Collins from SRC leads. I spoke with him on the phone briefly and he informed me that I could receive anywhere between 100-200 leads in my area for qualified prospects that had filled out information cards and mailed them back in. These prospects had expressed interest in a particular product and all I had to do was call and try and set an appointment. Upon receiving my list that I paid $500 for, I started calling and immediately found that the individuals had never heard of SRC leads nor did they remember filling out any information cards about any insurance needs or annuities. I worked my way through the list to find that no one had ever been contacted by this company. This highly upset me and I immediately called in for a refund request. They told me to email them my list with all of my notes, which I did. I also signed a form requesting the refund and faxed it back. I emailed and faxed everything in on 4/9 and was told my refund would be processed no later than 5/15. I imagined I would receive everything before this time because I followed the process and why would you hold my money until the last possible day?
5/15 arrived and I checked my account and I see no refund. The next day, I called SRC leads and found it difficult to get a hold to anyone. I finally got in touch with someone and had them pull my account, but then they gave me the run around about having to speak with someone in the accounting department and I should have it processed by that afternoon. On 5/19, I still had not received my refund and called again. Now they tell me no one is available in accounting and that I have to check back on Tuesday because Monday is a holiday (Memorial Day). I check back on the following Wednesday (to give them a day to process the payment after the holiday), and I still see no refund. I call in and they say that they need to forward my request to Accounting.
This is higly unprofessional, in my opinion. There is no way I will let them take advantage of anyone in my office or anyone I know, period. They seemed nice at first, but at this point, I am highly disappointed with the service and lack of quality in leads. I can't even find Steve Collins at this point. If you receive an email from this company, be wary! If I do receive my refund, I will consider taking this post down. But at this point, it doesn't seem likely. These people need to be shut down and I intend to use all my resources to prevent them from taking advantage of anyone else.
