Captiol One is just another company out to take advantage of people. I had one of those cards for rebuilding my credit and it further dug my grave. I tried to start to get credit after a messy divorce and defaulted on this stupid $300 limit card. I ended up paying over 2,500 in court for this 300 dollar card. Plus I paid $50 for the card. So they actualy gave me $250 and made well over 2,000. I to had to deal with the computer generated collection calls, I would say hundreds of calls. Plus they looked up everyone with my last name, that lived in WI. They called them to and asked if they were related to me, and if they knew me.
The process server came to my house at 9pm and went to my 3 Daughters window and wispered come here, scaring them to death. My neighbors told me the day before he was at my home knocking on the door for a half hour, walking around my house, taking pictures, looking in windows. All this for $250 dollars.
On Halloween I had family over and all the kids were ready to go trick or treating when this server comes flying up in his car, jumps out, starts walking towads us with his hands up like he was afraid of us, and hands me these court papers and walks backward real slowly, like we are going to attack him. I swear this guy was wearing shorts, that were tight cotton, and his package could be seen clearly, he had on black dress socks, a jacket, and tennis shoes, and his hair was sticking up all over. This guy acted like he was the swat team making a series bust, in actual its a poor divorced lady, with a debt of $300 to this stupid Capitol One.
