I was given a credit card with a limit of $400. I paid the amount they charged my card for giving it to me and all fees.
I paid my account ontime and paid off the money that I was charged for having this card in the first 3 months of having it. I always paid on time, always paid more than what what required each month. I requested a credit increase last month. Had to wait until then because at that time I would have had the card for the 6 month period u needed to have it in order to receive an increase.
I was refused, because I was $1.96 over my credit limit, which was for the insurance I took out on the account when I opened it. I was told I would be reviewed the next month. I made my double payment as I do most of the time when I pay this bill. I requested another increase and was denied again. Was told it was because of the over the limit amount for the $1.96.
I have come to the conclusion that they aren't going to raise my credit and I am going to send the card back in to them and cancel my account. After charging u all the money to open the account, then $6 a month plus $1.96 a month for insurance and it also has an annual fee. When and if they do increase your limit they charge u a
$25 fee.
