Fairbanks bought my loan and did not give me credit for payments made to my previous lender. I faxed receipts and payment history to their consumer advocate and after 5 month I was informed any payments made during this time to Fairbanks did not count for the 5 current months but would be applied to the old balance and that I was now in default and they would need to raise my Payment to make my loan current. I have had payments put in suspended accounts and charged late fees.
