Month three of my debacle of trying to get rid of my nemesis, PayPal. It first started when I billed aabout $150.00 worth of football jerseys for my nine year old. I paid the account, on the spot, via internet like everyone else, atleast I thought. A month later I received an "internet" copy of my latest purchases for the world to peruse, of a bill, plus a handling fee. Now, I pay my bills via credit card in total each month, so paying extra really ticked me off. Going on the internet to close the account was virtually impossible and speaking to a person who spoke the English language was equally frustrating to figure out. Finally, I spoke to someone who told me I had to send them a check baut wouldn't except another credit card payment to close the card. WHAT A SCAM!
Another month later, I get another fifteen dollar fee and a bill for $23.00. I figure that this scam is making PayPal millions by ripping off the consumer yet another way, and with no legal recourse. Today I closed the account (I hope, but I doubt) and I fear that next month another payment just so happened to slip by them and one and on...
I will never use PayPal again and I hope this warning helped someone before it's to late. Remember, never to give out your bank account to PayPal. One day you will look back and you will be cleared out. I'm warning you!
