We were on a forbearance agreement and I called to get payment information. I paid what they said. Then in November I received a letter stating the my agreement was 1197.00 past due.
When I call they said that the first agreement was not set up for the correct amount and the it was sent to an attorney. I had to pay 2000.00 in attorneys fees and double my payments for 9 months.
I looked back through our payments made and I couldn't find 3 months we missed, probably money order payments I can't find receipt.
Then when I questioned them, they were rude and said I hope you understand now because I don't want another phone call after you sign the agreement that you don't understand. They would not even take the time to look at my cancelled checks.
They said I was out of time and if I didn't get the downpayment for the agreement in that I would lost my home. They are horrible to deal with.
