Yes, we are behind in our mortgage payments. We contacted Aurora and talked with their mitigation Department. They sent us financial statments and other paperwork which we filled out and sent back to them in December. Another phone call to them to assure they received the package, they did and said that we would hear back from them at the end of March. Yesterday, 3/6/09 we received a letter from Quality Loan Service in San Diego (Aurora's Trustee) advising us that our house was being foreclosed on. We of course called Aurora mitigation department and talked to a person there who said oh no, your case has been assigned to a mitigation agent. That is an outright lie. We checked with our County in California and sure enough the foreclosure process had been started.
Don't believe a word these lying cheatin conniving #2#2#$45%@ say. This is just a stall tactic for them so that the foreclosure procees goes smoothly for them just to get you out of your house. They WILL NOT negotiate or modify or anything. I will update as time goes by
