AMERIQUEST MORTGAGE & How dare they say they are trying to help people get back on their feet. The President of Ameriquest recently bought several hundreds of acres of property here in California. He is a million aire who thrives on taking advantage of older people and low income people. They took advantage of my mother shortly after my dad passed away.
They bothered her on the telephone until she was so confused she gave into them. My mother was so lost without dad and she did not need to refinance her home. Financially, she is set for the rest of her life and AMERIQUEST KNEW THAT AND STILL TOOK ADVANTAGE OF HER. They gave her a loan that has a prepayment penalty and she has been planning on going to a retirement home.
I live about 3oo miles from my mother, so I could not be here when this was happening. I found out about a month later when she received a statement gfrom them. I take care of her finances and whem I saw this I thought it was a mistake. I called AMERIQUEST headquarters and tried to get answers, howeverm they would not cooperate with me. I called a long time family attorney and he immediately filed suit against Ameriquest.
It's funny how quickly Ameriquest changed their tune and tried to work out a settlement with us. The loan officer who initiated the loan with my mother was no longer with Ameriquest. I have found out that they have a high turnover rate throughout the country.
Also, I recently found out from the Federal Trade Commission that AMERIQUEST had 7 employees who were in cahoots with appraisors RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!!!
THIS WILL COST ameriquest alot of money but it won't stop their fraudulent activities. PEOPLE AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE WRITTEN HERE, IT IS IMPERATIVE YOU NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AMERIQUEST.
If you have already been ripped off them you need to get an attorney. I'm sure ameriquest will settle with you before it goes public. They are masters of hiding their activities. You can also contact a national group who has experience going after ameriquest
Please watch yourselves and stay away from ameriquest mortgage company.
