Trying to obtain money owed after it was discharged from a bankruptcy

Wow what a day! This is the second company this week trying to get money from a discharged bankruptcy debt. Lease Financial Group put on my credit report that I owe a debt that was discharged in bankruptcy court in August of '06. Is this the new trend for these bottom dwellers? The other company was The Sherman Companies aka Resurgent Capital Services, PYOD LLC. Please read my complaint on them. Thanks DMK
