Shell game
This repots reflect the actions of these company on several individuals. The details of each may differ but the general actions taken are the same. We have reviewed the data provided on line, lawsuits, charges of fraud and Etc. And these companies or operating under the Fairbank Corp umbrella.
UC lending was the front man.in my case doing anything to get my loan approved. After a few months my mortgage was sold to Aegis Mortgage. No reason was provided.
In this process, Aegis simple sent a letter stating they had my mortgage and the address to send the payment.
In September Aegis sold my mortgage GMAC Mortgage. This action was based on the reporting that I was from 30 to 120 day last with the monthly payments. I discovered this from my credit report.
In January I had my payment checked returned stating in was not the correct amount, which it was. I was informed that my home had been placed in foreclosure. This process was completed in a very short period of time. The returned check was received in the second week of January and the foreclosure process was completed before the end of the month with a sale date of the second week in February.
After many calls, hearing I don't know or it's in legal I finally reached someone who listened until this call I couldn't locate anyone to receive a pay. They ask, Do you really wanted to keep my house and I responded yes. I ask what could I do to resolve this matter and was told sending a monthly payment. I ask why my payment check had been returned and the response was I don't know.
There was a condition connected with the acceptance the monthly payment. There would be a contract modification. The house was scheduled to be sold, local newspaper in a few days. Accept the offer or the sale would be conducted. I signed a modified contract with an increased rate, 8.0%.
My mortgage payments have increased about $100.00 per month since the contract was signed so I tried to refinance my home. I contacted FHA and was told that they couldn't help me because of my delinquent house payments. I requested my credit report and not only did it show I was late it also included the foreclosure actions.
There were some of the same date reported by Aegis and GMAC. I have been placed in the position of $900.00 per month with payoff value of under $50,000.
This is a shell game and every one of us that dealt with UC leading are worse off for it. I could not recommend these companies for any financial assistance.
