I recieved this letter from DMUS Financial Services & Consultants stating that I hae won $57,000 in U.S. Dollars and selected through a computerized ballot. Enclosed was a check for $3,995.75 which they state is for administrative taxes and clearance fees of winnings. Call Cindy Tucker ast 1-514-651-1743 and claim your winnings no later than 11-12-08.
A claim number was given in the letter also. I call this Cindy Tucker and got this message that this number is no longer recieving any messages. So I call the number on the check 1-450-369-1087 and I speak to a David Anderson tells me to call the agent and he will fix the number for Cindy Tucker.
So he must have a way to fix a number via internet to get the call through as I got Cindy Tucker after this call to so called "David Anderson" which sounds like an Iraqi or Middle East Character. All I heard was JUST DEPOSIT THE CHECK. I was smart I did the research checked out the bank, called the bank,

And another branch in New York, New York both stating Don't deposit this check and be very cautious. I sent this check to my Wells Fargo Bank via fax and was also advised don't deposit or cash this check. Called Mr. Daid Anderson back stated the check was bad and he should make it good (Playin around with him, LOL) he got testie and told me he talked to his bank and the accounting department and assured me the check was good. I told him it was not a good check as his bank wont release the funds as this is a insufficient check. Told me to stop asking him why the check is bad and basically hung up on me. LOL
I dug up alot of info because I cannot stand immoral, pompous, jerks trying to ripp off the ones who can be very vaulnerable to these scamms. Ftc regulates sweepstakes companies and the rule is nobody has to pay for any sweepstakes winnings the monies are rendered to you and the taxes are taken out of the winnings. YOU DON'T BUY A SWEEPSTAKES IT IS GIVEN TO YOU WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED.
My mother is an elderly person and gets these offers in the mail alot. Please be cautious and report this to the Federal Trade Commission 1-877-382-4357, if you get this letter call the banks report this to them (phone number is listed above, the more people report this the more this garbage will stop.
