I went through a 2 year litigation with NationsCredit/aka Bank of America—needless to say, my attorney ended up not being on MY SIDE! Anyway, Bank of America sold my loan to Fairbanks (actually BEFORE my trial was over). I was given my mortgage loan and also a promise to remove damaging information from my credit report as a settlement.
I kept my end of this "settlement" and by the way, they put so many stipulations into the settlement, it has made life very hard on me. Now, Fairbanks says I have sent Bad checks and they have to hold my checks for more days.
I HAVE NEVER, EVER SENT A BAD CHECK. I was sending extra $ on the principal of the loan to get it paid off faster, but WHAT'S THE USE because if I mail a payment on the 11th of the month that is due on the 25th, the check still has not been credited to my account. Please help me.
