I withdrew $10 from my account on a Friday afternoon. I've always thought that ATM transactions were immediate because as soon as you take the money out its out of your account immediately. The following business day I got online and saw my $10 ATM debit. I knew at that point I only had like. 54 cents in my acccount but hey it was still a positive balance. I wanted to pay my cell bill and I know I would get charged ONE overdraft fee but was willing ot pay that instead of having my cell phone turned off so I did.
Well the next day they show my cell phone bill payment that was made 9/29 online to be debited BEFORE my ATM withdraw of 9/26. I'm sorry but I do not understand how these people can live with themselves. I'm sick of it.
A month ago I made a $100 cash deposit and got online the next day and I had no money in my account still. I called the bank and they had NO record of the transaction. They said if I had my receipt to bring it in and they would find my money. Thankfully I still had my receipt otherwise I'd have just lost my $100 thanks to Bank of America yet again. They determined after looking at the transaction Id# on my receipt that they gave my deposit to someone else's account. Never got an apology or anything. They disgust me.
And then they have the nerve to tell me "its the way we do things by taking the highest transactions out first and then the lowest." Yea no matter what day you do a transaction its up to them to decide how much they want to F&*$ You!
