I applied for a refinance of my home from CitiMortgage and was told by the loan consultant that there was a fee of $440 but would be refunded if my loan was declined. The fee was deducted two days before I got a letter saying that my loan was declined. It has been six weeks with weekly correspondence with the loan consultant and I still have not received a refund and nor have I got any indication that it will be refunded.
