A week after sending my monthly payment, I called Fifth Third Bank's recorded balance for the current balance and was told it was the same as before the payment. I talked to an individual employee who denied the payment had arrived. I went back to the recorded service and selected the make a payment option and was told that payments can only be made through accounts at Fifth Thire Bank.
I only took out a loan from Fifth Third in desperation when I was suddenly without any vehicle. My car dealer recommended Fifth Third, unaware of the fraudulent practices. I have no reason to open a checking or savings account at Fifth Third, which has no branches near where I live.
