I was just looking at my monthly credit card payment to see when it was do, and noticed that I had one charge that went through and one that was pending from Cricketcomm. I called my bank and they gave me the number to Cricket, it was almost impossible to get a live person on the phone much less a knowledgable one. I was told to go to one of their stores and they would pull up the account with my credit card number then I could get the name of who charged my card and call the police.
So I drove to the closest location to find out who had done this and to hopefully get a refund. When I arrived at the store the guy told me I had to go to one of their corporate offices and they would have all the access to pull it up, (this was on the other side of town) so I drove over their, wasting my work day.
When I got to the corporate office I spoke to two individuals that worked their and explained my situation, they had no clue and had never heard of this happening before. I asked to please have a supervisors phone number and they told me they could not make long distance calls from their store nor did they have internet access. Then another employee came into work and he suggested that I drive home and pull up the bill from my credit card statement and print it and bring it back to him so he could fax it to another one of their offices.
I am in customer service and I had no idea people could get a job at a place and not have any problem solving skills. This is like a bad dream, and I have seen numerous complaints on this company since I decided to look into it more. I have fraud protection on my credit and still somehow someone was able to still use my hard earned money to pay their bills.
