Valentine & Kebartas is using ILLEGAL PRACTICES to find people. They are looking for a family member of mine and called my M-I-Ls house during their search.
They stated that my M-I-L's name was listed as a secondary contact name which - excuse me, because I am so upset - is ABSOLUTELY BS! I asked "Mr Darnell West" of Valentine & Kebartas (800-731-7766 x229) how they got this number and they said she was listed as a relative - which again is BS! They would not tell me what kind of company they were (although now I know) nor would he tell me what it was in reference to because I am not the person they are looking for. I told them to take my M-I-L off the contact list immediately because I know they found her number using shady avenues - looking at other family members and trying to reach anyone (NOT from a contact # listed).
I told Mr Darnell West I would call the Better Business Bureau if they called again (this was the 2nd time). Mr Darnell West of Valentine & Kebartas (800-731-7766 x229) said in a rude way that I didn't have to pass along the message if I didn't want to and told me not to threaten him (!) and then hung up on me. Absolutely SHADY, RUDE, and LIARS!!!
In order for me to get them stop HARASSING my M-I-L about something that is not her problem I have to give personal information on the Better Business Bureau report - which does not make sense. But I think I will do it anyway.
