NLDC, Mezey&Associates, Campos Law Firm
Victimized and stole our money $8000 total plus the $500 we paid them to help us. California, Syosset, NY, Florida california, new york, florida

This website: www.debtconsolidationcare.com, many people describe the same situation we went through. I have all the documents saved a many phone call notes I have kept in correspondence with them.
The following describes what happened to us:
1. Signed on with NLDC, California, paid a fee of near $500
2. Found out through a phone company another company was in charge of our account. Later found out through an email and my call Mezey and Associates was managing our accout (a law firm).
3. Through a phone call found out Campos Charter Law firm was handling the money and would see it on our bank account.
4. We keep calling them b/c none of our CC were being negotiated and were receiving threats. They told us they were and having sent them a power of attorney. I really believe they never did.
5. We got a lean put on our house and more threats to us and husband parents.
6. They said they paid off a CC Providian for $1800 and found out when we refinanced our house we found out it was paid and we had to pay it again and all the others except one remaining in order to refinance. Campos Charter Law firm said they were investigating everytime we called over 7mos.
7. Suddenly one call they said Mezey and Associates is withdrawing the account and your money will be sent to you by the end of the month. They said that for four months. The last call about Providian was they were still investigating it. When I questioned them they explained that was all they could tell us.
8. Called Mezeys & Associates line and they asked me why I was calling them when Campos was handling the account and would be returning our escrow.
9. Waited a month like they said, our escrow would be returned by the end of July. We called today and Campos said Mezey would be returning our escrow and that they would be in contact with us. That was all they could tell us. We called Mezeys and were left on hold for 58 mins when we decided they were not going to pick up. They call goes directly to on-hold status. There is no person to speak with.
10. I am waiting to receive a return of at least my $1800 for Providian (pd 2k when refinanced) and $6191.

I really hope that someone can put a stop to these bottom feeder.
