I opened an account with Direct Merchants Bank back in October. When my card arrived it had the wrong name on it.
I called requesting it be changed and a new card sent out. I was told I had to fill out a form, the young man would mail it to me.
It comes to December 6th and I had not received the form or a statement (oddly enough I was able to use the card).
I called the customer service department and was told all mail was returned.
I corrected all the information with the represenative and she stated she would sent a statement out as well as the form.
She also stated no payment was due til the 28th of December. I questioned this and she stated again no statement is due til the 28th of December.
I soon find I can't use my card it has been blocked by the company.
I called again and was told that was because I had not payed the balance due for the 28th of November.
I explained the previous conversation I had and was basically told the other rep. Did not know what she was doing.
To this day I have not received a form to change the name on my card nor a statement.
