Ripoff refused to send payment summary

We bought a computer from the Best Buy Company for our daughter. It was suppose to be interest free if paid off within 18 months. We are disputing our current balance, and have made (5) phone calls to GE CAPITAL CONS CARDCO SERVICES, requesting a payment summary showing the history of our payments.

To this day, they have sent us everything but our payment history. During a telephone call today, we were informed that if we wanted a payment summary, it was going to cost us $6.00 per month for each of the (17) months that we requested. They also informed us that if we did not pay off the balance by the 20th of February, they were adding on the $300.00 in interest.in other words, they are going to get the money out of us whether we are right or not. If we are right and owe less than our statement, we have to pay them to be able to prove it, so either way, we can't win against them.

What ever happened to customer service? In my opinion, DO NOT buy from any establishment that offers credit from GE CAPITAL CONS CARDCO. I think their name says it all..."CONS"!
