National City has gone overdraft crazy. This bank has taken more overdrafts off me in the last year then in my 22yrs of banking with them. They do not post your deposits on time, they lie to you and they change their policies and procedures like people change their underwear. Forget calling the "Representatives", they are rude, uneducated, and just plain dumb. This bank holds your money for 4 to 5 days at a time. They would not cash their own money order! Duh! How can people feel safe with their money at this bank? I say your money is safer in the hands of a thief... I don't get it, they say well yes your money was in the bank, but it was not available yet! What, my deposit slip says calander date 7/16/08 and business date 7/16/08, the on-line banking system shows the money is there, the automated phone system says the money is there, but not National City, noooo, its not available yet? I'm confused. Overdraft fee of $34.00 Balance $1400.00, huh?
Is this legal? How can they get away with this? I'm tired of them stealing from me, thats why now I have no bucks. Guess they need it more. Reports indicate they are deep in debt, stock is way way down, Wonder why? So it is up to us little people to pay their bills and just leave ours unpaid. I hate this bank...
