Mis-leading mortgage agreement and $514 taken out of credit card

Did a re-finance on the phone with Countrywide on 7/16. Thought I was getting a 30 year fixed rate loan with a 5 year interest payment only.

When paperwork arrived - it said mortgage was an ARM. (I had just taken a mortgage (thru Quicken) a little over 1 year ago - to get out of an adjustable rate home equity loan and into a fixed rate loan.

Countrywide has not so far not answered my calls or email.

I am contesting the $514 application charge - but fear that Countrywide could wreck my credit rating.

We are senior citizens and this has not been good for the old blood pressure.
