I was in need of a loan so I applied for a loan with BIG, I received 9 back to back private calls and after awhile I finally answered one. This indonesian speaking individual who rattled off a lot of stuff very fast to me, I even told him to slow down I could not understand him. After ending the call, I felt very leary about doing it so I called right back and every option on the customer service number he gave me went to a fast ringing signal. I finally after lots of persistance got someone to answer the phone. All he said was hello, and I said I want to cancel my contract I do not want the loan with you. The gentleman asked my name and phone number I gave it to him and he said OK sir your contract has been deleted. I told him thank you and hung up, my mistake apparently.
The next day I received an email saying my deposit would be in my account the next day and to click a link to renew it for $80. I immediately picked up the phone and called, the first lady answered said sorry call customer service and hung up and I tried the same number I got her on and got the same long ringing, eventually after pressing all the options I got another lady who said I did not call and cancel there was no record of it. She puts me on hold and a guy named John answers and said I was a liar that I never called because they never recorded it, I told him when I get my phone records on my next cellphone statement I can prove that I called and he said you are a liar you never called you accepted and you will pay it back. I told him to take the money back before it gets in there and he said no he would not do it, I told him I would contact the BBB an report them and if they took more than the money they gave me I would sue them he said OK and hung up. I think I will put a block on my account against them
