This evening I experienced the unthinkable! Someone harrassing and threatening me over a debt that is not mine. Around dinner time I received a (pre - recorded) phone call concerning an "investigation" concerning a former friend of mine. After my family finished dinner, I returned the call to let them know that I am no longer in contact with that person and asked to speak to a supervisor. This person (and I use the term loosely), then proceeded to tell me that I was nothing and nobody and these harrassing calls would not stop until they got what they wanted. I attempted to speak to a "supervisor" who had no full name (just Roseanne 110, who was just as rude as trhe initial operator. Even when you call the number for their supposed business office, these same two bottom feeders answer the phone playing who is this.
I firmly believe thes companies get away with this type of behavior because they are not held accountable. Their phone carriers do not want to get involved and usually the anger subsides and there is no follow up. If you too have been victimized by these rodents at Peak Finacial, stay angry, keep reporting them, everywhere and every way you can. For example, file police reports, annoyance call reports, contact the media and the FCC and FTC. The lines they are harrassing and abusing us on, are supposed to be federally regulated. For future refernce keep a log of every time they contact you;the phone number, date/time, contact person and if you can record it. You know, it might not even hurt to contact Peak Financial themselves, not just the boiler (collection) room they have in glendale. I hope all the employees in that office are comfortable in that Arizona heat, they will be duly prepared for where they are going in the next life!
