Harassing calls abusive launguage non compliance of banking regulatons abused & mistreated

Being that this credit card is based on high risk customers I understand the need for higher interest rates and penalties. A few months ago I was laid off and fell behind on the payment of this card.

Within a few days after the payment due date they called to set up a payment arrangement. We discussed several possible payment arrangements of which one of those options was using an advanced checking account payment. Being that I work in the banking field, I know that it was possible for the transaction to go through without my knowledge and possibly bounce. I didn't choose that method of payment.

Then we discussed when it would be possible for me to make a payment. I gave them a date and they agreed that would be possible. A few days later the phone calls started sometimes 3 and 4 a day. This is considered harassment under FCC regulations.

Later I found out that according to their business policies, the payment arrangements I made with them are not considered a payment arrangement but a refusal of payment.

This is contractive of banking regulations. The payment date we had agreed upon came and I made the payment amount as specified and at the same time I made another payment schedule with them. Less then 48 hours after making the payment and them acknowledging that the payment was made, the phone calls started again.

This time my fianc answered the phone and she asked if the payment was received and they acknowledged that it was. She then told them that another payment arrangement had already made.

And told them good-bye and hung up. Not a minute later the same customer service person called her back and called her abusive names and then hung up on her. She called and filed a complaint.

I now call everyday to get an update on the situation. This is my legal right. I should be calling them 3-4 times a day considering that I'm checking on a crime that was committed.

After some checking I have found that this customer service number works best 1561-982-9111 make sure you press number 4 to continue in English then enter your 16 digit account number (actually any number will do) and a customer service rep. Will be with you shortly.
