In the early eighties I purchased Salvador Dali's Alice in Wonderland series of four lithigraphs from American Express, thinking that the company was an upright company Boy was I fooled. Uust yesterday (Mafch 24) I found out that I had purchased fakes.
These lithos were purchased to be given to my daughters after my death as a memento of me. I was always fond of Dali's paintings.
I paid the price of $975.00 per litho thinking they would go up in value after Dali's death. I am a widow now and that money would surely come in handy as all I have left is social security widow benefits to support myself.
I would like to get a refund from American Express or at least join a class action suit. I also have all the paperwork connected with this transaction. I was never notified that amex was giving refunds on the lithos.
