Took money out of my checking account without authorization

I made my payment late in Feb., and on March 5th found out that saxon had without authorization automatically withdrawn $908.57 out of my checking account the same day that I made my Feb. Payment. So they double dipped me on my monthly payments.

When I contacted them to have this fixed and get the money refunded back into my account they researched and submitted a ticket to have the funds returned directly into my account. They specifically said that the funds would be directly deposited back into my checking account, and that this would be done by March 11th, again this was March 5th that I spoke with them.

Because that this would take 6 days for them to correct a mistake they made, I knew that some bills that hadn't cleared the account yet would cause my account to go overdrawn, so I notified my bank and they couldn't gaurantee anything would be covered, but did say that once the amount was deposited back into my account that they would refund any overdraft charges.

On March 11th I checked my account and noticed that the deposit had not been made. I called saxon immediately and spoke to a Betty (teller id#8948). She looked into this situation and said that she showed the amount had been refunded back into my account. I then contacted my bank but they did not show any deposit.

I again checked today, March 12 with my bank and they didn't show any deposit or anything pending. My account is now over $800 overdrawn because of this.

I called saxon and told them that they have not deposited the money back into my account. The saxon rep (joseph, teller id#8959) looked into the situation and got back on the line to tell me that they didn't deposit the amount back into our account, but instead cut a check and are sending the check to me via US mail. So this means that I won't get the check until tomorrow or friday and it won't post on my account until next week.

I told the saxon rep that this is unacceptable and asked for a manager. The manager (michelle) got on the line and said that they would not deposit the amount directly in my account even though when the claim was originally submitted it was stated that the amount would be returned directly into the account because it was automatically taken out. The manager said literally, "the checks in the mail and there is nothing else we're going to do about it".

To reiterate, this was taken out of my account without authorization, and saxon was absolutely unwilling to rectify the situation immediately and put it directly back into my account causing my account to go over $800 negative. I was told it would be put back into my account by March 11th, and on March 12th was told they cut a check instead and there was nothing further they would do to help.
