I have had my auto loan with wells fargo since may. Due to my husband being out of work due to a injury/illness, we became behind on our auto loan for the first time (just one payment)... My loan is due on the 8th of each month, if the payment is not in their possesion by the 8th, starting at 8:00 am on the 9th Wells Fargo will call every phone number listed on the application, including my 72 year old father. They are not satisfied with one call to each number, they call on an average of 6-8 times per day per phone number.
In example, for the month of June, Wells Fargo placed 196 phone calls to our numbers. It does not matter if you speak with them and explain the situation, it does not matter what the circumstance or the agreement, the phone calls will continue in the harassment.

On July 1 I called in to make a payment over the phone, it must be done by electronic check, because being the "first class operation" (what a joke) that they are, they do not accept credit card payments.
I explicitly told the lady in the payment center that I was going to pay on payment of $325.00, she even repeated the amount back.

Much to our surprise, when the electronic check cleared my checking accout, it was for $650.. Which of course caused my account to be overdrawn, and I incurred over $460.in overdraft charges.

Just attempting to find out the process of how to request that this matter be rectified was almost impossible. Nobody seemed to know exactly how to do it at Wells Fargo, and each time that I contacted them, I spoke to a different person. I have faxed and called, my bank has faxed and called, and still it is now 1 month later and I have not been reimbursed for their "error" which, according to the responses at this website, happens quite frequently.

The practices and criminal behaviors of this company must be stopped. If you are interested in joining me in legal action, be contact, ASAP.
