In a recent review of my credit bureau files, I noticed this company had inappropriately accessed my file for the purpose of reporting derogatory information. At no point in time had I ever been contacted by said company regarding any alleged outstanding debt.
As such, my rights as set forth in the FDCPA have been violated. Subsequently, I filed a complaint with the FTC and with the bureau. However, Experian has purportedly investigated the dispute and allege that the debt is mine. It is not! Moreover, I am a confirmed victim of identity theft and have concerns as to how this company was allowed to access my files.
Presently, I am trying to get the information removed from my report and I am being stonewalled. This company has got to be stopped!
