I retired from Wachovia Bank on July 1 with my last day of employment being June 21. I have tried for the last 6 months to receive my retirement and 401K funds from Wachovia. I have been given dates by Wachovia that my checks should be sent which have come and gone.
Every time I call I am told that someone will call but no one can seem to take any responsibility to resolve this. I have worked for the bank 28 years, if I provided this level of customer service I would have been terminated (and rightly so). I am sure that Senior Managers that have recently retired did not have this problem or receive this level of service.
