This guy who calls himself "Kyle Jenkins" keeps calling my home, about once a week. If I'm home and the machine picks up, I ask who it is and the nature of the call. He replies that his name is Kyle Jenkins with ERSI and would like to talk to me about my delinquent Sears account. I immediately and without saying another word hang up the phone. The last straw is this guy calling me on Christmas Eve. I pick up the phone and say "What?!?" He responds with: " You know XXXXX, why don't you acknolwledge who you are?" Very rude and obnoxious tone. I hang up.
Ok, the fact is that I DID have a Sears card. 20 years ago. What they are doing is in violation of the FDCPA. SO, how do I report this company to the Feds or the State of Illinois?
