I was charged eight overdraft fees @ $36 per charge = $288.00 and still counting. There are still five other charges pending in my account as I write this.
A vendor ran my credit card twice on 12/17 and canceled the 2nd charge. It showed pending but not completed so I was charged a Overdraft Fee for each charge that would not have gone through even though the money never left my account. I asked that the overdraft fees be waived and they refused and stated it was not a bank error. Bottom line is I had money in my account to cover all completed charges and was still charged overdraft fees.
I also asked if they would waive the fees once the transaction is no longer pending and I got the same response. We can't because it is not a bank error.
I requested to speak to a VP or Regional manager for the Coppell, TX branch and was refused at first. I insisted so they took my number to have someone call me back and I did not hear from anyone.
If I do not get this resolved I will be changing banks.
